Lobster Tails, Prime Rib and Cheesecake(s)

The food on this cruise has been plentiful and delicious. I can't think of one meal that I didn't like and several meals consisted of more than one entree because we just couldn't decide.

Our head waiter, Ricky, was from Granada and he was quite a character. He reminded me of a darker version of Ricky Ricardo but he didn't think I was all that funny when I told him that. Our assistant waiter, Michael, was from Phillipines and was one of the sweetest people on the ship. They took good care of us each evening and put up with a lot from our crazy crew (we switched seats constantly and some of us ordered multiple desserts).

We frequented the buffet a few times, including on midnight run to the pizza bar. I also ordered a tuna fishsandwich at 2 AM from my room just because I could (and was hungry).

The only real complaint was that some food items had additional charges to them. The buffet may have been part of the cruise fee but the ice cream bar was not - there was a $1.50 to $3.75 charge for ice cream. However, that being said, we had ice cream cones after walkinga 5k walk for Breat Cancer and it was amazingly good. After 30 laps around the top deck in direct sun, it should taste good.

Speaking of the walk, we helped raise $800 for the Susan G Komen Foundation. Princess matched that for a total of $1,600. They do this on every cruise, which is pretty cool.
