I am sure that hurricanes are an everyday occurance for those living in the Gulf and Caribbean regions. But to this Northwesten girl, the thought of Hurricane Dean bearing down on the destination of our much planned-for trip is none too pleasing.
I hopped onto cruisecritic.com to check out Dean's progress when I spotted a storm with my name - Hurricane Erin. Only she has been downgraded to Tropical Depression Erin. (http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=2152)
By the time I am done with the Caribbean this should be changed to "Tropical Elation Erin." ;)
Erin is hanging out in the Gulf region so we aren't concerned with her impacting our cruise. But it is still somewhat funny.....
