Pin tradin with celebrities

The pin trading has really turned out to be a hit. Both boys have learned to watch for cast members with pins and learn to trade. The more they have done it, the braver they get. We have had some great interactions with people that never would have happened without the pins.

For example, colby and I were saving a spot oon some stairs for the parade while grady and dad went to get fast passes. A young blonde woman struggled up the stairs with a stroller and he son tumbled in front of us. I helped him up and then they stood behind us.

I thought she looked really familiar but just thought she looked like someone famous. She saw colby's pins and asked if he would like to trade. He picked a big nemo pin and she picked his blue fairy from pinocchio. She asked where we were from and then I returned the question. She gave me sort of an odd look then said they were local.

About then I recognized the discreet enterouge that accompanied her. It was really just about 4 or 5 others but 2 were disney staff. I heard someone call her melissa and I slowly started to piece it together. Steve and grady got back and she traded pins with grady, commenting that her other son is named brady. By then I had figured out that she looked so familiar because I watched her on tv with a certain talking black cat.

So colby and grady traded pins with melissa joan heart. Pretty cool that my boys exchanged pins with sabrina the teenage witch. She was really nice and we never let on that we knew who she was. I assumed she was enjoying being one of the masses. We said goodbye once the parade was over and went our own way.
