We then started our Saturday in CA. We first grabbed FP for Grizzly Mt then headed over to Bug's Life land. What a fun place that was! Everything was sized like we were bugs, The rides were things like Chew Chew's train (the fat German Caterpillar) and when we went through a giant watermelon, we were sprayed with water scented like watermelon. Another favorite was the balloons, which were boxes like Chinese take-out cartons and cookie boxes with nuts for balloons. Also went on bug bumper cars and a lady bug ride that was similar to the teacups. The boys really liked this area and Steve and I thought it was a lot of fun.
The 3-D movie, however, was much too dark and scary for the youngsters. It was all about the deadly and nasty bugs of the world and included some scary effects, like giant spiders that dangle unexpectedly from the ceiling and water sprayed to be like acid from a bug. It was honestly creepy and the kids were not too fond of it. But it was creative!
