Fort Steele

Today was a leisurely day - only took us 2 hours to make our way from our RV campground in Banff the Radium hot Springs. Steve, the boys and I went into the springs and pools for a dip in both the cool (82 degrees) and the hot pool (103 degrees). We had a quick dip in both and then headed out. The kids had fun and it was a nice excursion. Dad took photos while the rest of us played in the pools.

We hit the road around 1:00 and made it to our campground around 3:00. We are staying in Fort Steele and plan to spend most of tomorrow in the Western themed grounds. Tonight we took a short road trip to Kimberley, which is a Bavarian themed town. To be honest, I think they could take notes from Leavenworth but they are clearly trying. Most of the stores were closed so we didn't have a lot of shopping options.

We ended up back at camp in time for dinner and then have played some games. The boys are clamoring right now for a bedtime story from grandma, Steve & dad are playing Cribbage and I am blogging. Sounds about right.....
