Sula, Montana

Don't blink while driving north along HWY 93 or you will miss Sula, MT. When we arrived there, after nearly 8-9 hours of driving total, it was just past 6 pm. The stores evidently closes at 6 so we missed the checking in person. We found a couple spots in this tiny little campground and followed the directions on the sign to call. The manager was already home so told us to have a good night and check in with her in the morning. Such a different attitude from the big city skepticism.

The small park had a pond that was stocked with trout for kids to fish. Papa taught Colby how to fly fish and he LOVED it. Grady was more interested in shooting things with the toy gun Papa & Grandma had bought them. Together they were quite the outdoors kids. Colby even asked if we could wake him up early so he could fish in the morning (which we did). Unfortunately they did not catch anything - other than the start of a great interest.
