Zurg strikes again

After a quick change of clothes at the hotel (and checking luggage because room isn't ready until 4), we hopped the bus to hollywood. Our timing was perfect, arriving just as the doors opened.

Excited to get our plan started, we beelined straight to Toy Story Mania, the best ride here. Unfortunately, the ride is shut down. Grady says zurg is to blame. The line for a fast pass was nearly 30 mins and there is no guarantee the ride will be fixed. Needless to say, we decided to change plans.

Our first ride was the great movie ride. This is the point where reading the "small children may be frightened" fine print would have been helpful. Colby was crying with his head in my lap by the third scene. By the time we got to the ALien set, he was nearly hysterical. Thankfully we ended on a happy note with wizard of oz.

So the boys are now leary of every ride with the term "movie" in it and keep asking if its scary. Took us some time in the honey I shrunk the kids playground and walking down sunset strip to watch live performers before they trusted us again.

We are now seated in the indiana jones theater, waiting for the stunt show to start. Just had a hearty meal and we are all feeling a little more energized. Later we have the rockin roller coaster and a car crash stunt show. No beauty & the beast or little mermaid allowed with these boys.
