Worship at the Temple (bar)

All good things in life are balanced... In theory.

After a "nap" for the boys (during which I organized things and tried to hunt down our still missing luggage), we headed out for a Traditional Irish Music Pub CRAWL.

I realize that pub crawl doesn't exactly sound like a solid parenting choice. But you have to focus on the MUSIC part. It really was a tame and educational (and highly entertaining) experience.

We started with dinner at Gogarty's and we're led to a bar around the corner called the Ha'penny bridge inn. There, 2 men led the group through the instruments and traditional songs. They taught us a few, had us singing along and discussed the history and names of the instruments. All while tossing out funny on-line and good natured jokes.

The music was phenomenal. But the boys were tired and so we headed back to the hotel for some rest.

I can't wait to catch another session soon.
