On the road again - Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway. We're the best of friends.Insisting that the world keep turning our way And our way is on the road again.
WOW, talk about deja vu! We made this trip 28 years ago when our kids were 6, 8, and 11. We traveled in a trailer caravan with 4 other families. At the time we all had CB's in our rigs to keep in communication, my handle was 3 Striper, my wifes was Peppermint Patty. One of our traveling families had a tape of Kenny Rogers and his song "On The Road Again". Every morning when we broke camp and later in the day after we stopped for lunch they would put the song on their radio and key in their mic so everybody in our caravan could belt out the tune, by the end of the trip everybody knew it by heart. To this day everyone in our family still feels that this trip was one of the top 2 or 3 two week family vacations we ever went on.
