A few things to note if you ever visit Europe: even coffee houses don't open before 8 AM. Crazy, I know, but true.
We checked out of the Pembroke and headed south on what we thought was the "Scenic Route" because it was called the "Kilkenny-Cashel Scenic Byway."
Yeah.... this was more like the Kill-You-Now to Car-Hell" byway. The road was so narrow that I am not sure hw 2 cars actually made it by each other. There is no visibility as the lanes are grown over the car height and there are no markers on the road, just suggestions of lanes.
